Our Team

Sebastian BishopSebastian Bishop

Livestream Team, That Guy

An Interactive Media major, Sebastian’s a massive videogame nerd who somehow got roped into this class.  Regardless, his knowledge on how to manage livestreams, podcasts, and social media more than makes up for not knowing how the sportsball works.

Kang JohnsonKang Johnson

Sports Analyst

Mass communication major. Music/audio lover. MTSU 2020 graduate. Basketball watcher

Jared KirkpatrickJared Kirkpatrick

Sports Analyst, Co-Lead of Social Media

Jared comes to us as a native of Nashville, Tennessee, a lifelong sports fan of every form and fashion. He’s a fan of what goes on off the court as much as what happens on the court, and never stops looking for the hottest takes. As an Interactive Media major at MTSU, he viewed this opportunity to combine some of his favorite things: Social Media, Content Creation and basketball, of course.

Austin OgleAustin Ogle

Sports Analyst, Assistant Director

That weird twitchy dude in the corner your mother warned you about. Most magnetic charisma and charming wit since Pauly Shore. The views of Austin do not reflect the corporate views of Dorm Room Hoops.

Forrest ParkerForrest Parker

Sports Analyst, Social Media Co-Lead

Forrest is majoring in Interactive Media at Middle Tennessee State University. His passion has always been sports and it does not matter what sport that is. He has always been interested in Sports Media ever since he was young. It became even more of interest when he realized he wouldn’t be able to complete his dream of playing in the NFL. His knowledge of the game of sports is second to none.

Justin RazorJustin Razor

Sports Enthusiast (behind the cameras)

Justin is a Video/Film Production Major and a lucky fan of the New England Patriots. (Don’t hate him, it’s just who he is.) Working at Wal-Mart has taught him that being paid to watch and write/talk about sports is a blessing and a path he wants to pursue. He loves Tom Brady but he loves sports more.

Adian SantanaAdian Santana

Senior Editor, Mean Meme Machine

Adian is a Video and Film major with a passion for editing and post production. He’s best known for directing The Unicorn Man, and has his own YouTube channel. Basketball knowledge ends at Space Jam. Has seen Oh Hello On Broadway eight times.

Kyle Van PattenKyle Van Patten

Production Director

Kyle is a Video and Film Major at Middle Tennessee State University. Kyle wants to become a director after school. Kyle has some knowledge about sports but not enough.

Samuel WhiteSamuel White

Stream Guru

Samuel White is a senior year student at Middle Tennessee State University in the Video and Film Program. In his free time he streams on Twitch and plays all matter of video games. Loves anything to do with streaming, and while he doesn’t know sports he does know how to nod his head and pretend like he’s listening.

Stephanie YorkStephanie York

Live Stream Manager

Once majoring in speech pathology/audiology Stephanie York changed her course to study video and film production in 2017. This arguably insane decision has led her to do anything and everything in the film world. When she’s not in the studio she works on her novel, plays video games and enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Casper and JJ.

Carla Swank FoxCarla Swank Fox

Managing Editor

As a life-long fan of all things Black and Gold, Carla is a displaced Pittsburgher who has dabbled in sports media throughout her career, beginning in her collegiate days as a senior sports producer at the campus TV station. She has been a sports writer and copy editor for the Beaver County Times, senior writer and site publisher for PaPreps.com, and assistant editor and team site producer for Rivals.com and Yahoo! Sports where she covered high school and college football at the national level. She continues to freelance for various publications and co-hosts The Carla and Crappy Show, a college football webcast/podcast preparing for its eighth season this fall. While she longs for those blissful summer evenings at PNC Park (hey, the Pirates may be relevant again sometimes?), she is enjoying her current role as an adjunct instructor focusing on interactive media at MTSU.
