Instant Analysis: Louisville pulls away for win

Are we headed towards a Kentucky-Louisville national championship? It could be after Louisville’s win tonight over NC State secured the Cardinals a spot in the Elite Eight. The game didn’t favor one team or the other until the final minutes when Pitino’s squad opened up a 10-point lead on the Wolfpack which they wouldn’t give back as the final score would stand 75-65.

Instant Analysis: No. 7 Michigan State holds on

If there’s anything we know from March, it’s that a game is never over, and that was definitely the case in this one. Michigan State seemed to have put this one away about three separate times in the second half, but Georgia refused to be silenced. They battled back from 10 point deficits three times in today’s game but were never able to even the score as Michigan State went on to win a game that was much closer than the score indicates, 70-63.
