Instant Analysis: No. 4 Louisville escapes

The Louisville versus UC Irvine showdown was definitely one of the most back and forth games of the tournament so far.  The largest lead the entire game was only seven points.  With six ties and nine lead changes, the game ended with a one-and-one foul opportunity for Louisville’s freshman Quentin Snider who sunk both attempts and sealed the deal for the Cardinals ticket to the next round.

Strange, Yet True

Both teams were 100 percent on free throws … although there were only eight combined attempts in the game. UC Irvine was 2-for-2, while Louisville was  6-for-6.
