Are we headed towards a Kentucky-Louisville national championship? It could be after Louisville’s win tonight over NC State secured the Cardinals a spot in the Elite Eight. The game didn’t favor one team or the other until the final minutes when Pitino’s squad opened up a 10-point lead on the Wolfpack which they wouldn’t give back as the final score would stand 75-65.

Terry Rozier played like a man with a chip on his shoulder tonight as he snagged 14 rebounds which proved to be huge for the Cardinals down the stretch. He also put up an impressive 17 points to help his team secure the win. Nice game, sophomore.

Louisville only had one player score any points off the bench, compared to NC State’s 19 bench points, yet the Cards came out on top.
