Not many teams can step on the court and control the game in such a fashion as No. 6 Wisconsin did this evening against No. 23 Ohio State. The Badgers put their foot on the gas and didn’t let up, rolling to a 72-48 win. With only a small scare midway through the second, Wisconsin put on another showing as they work toward a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

BGOC: #6 Wisconsin at #23 Ohio State
One week from today, we will have the bracket of the 68 teams that have made the big dance. Wisconsin will try to make its case for one of the four 1-seeds in this final week, and it starts today when they face the Buckeyes of Ohio State at 4:30 ET. If a top team falls this week, and Wisconsin is able to put it on Ohio State today and then runs the table in the conference tournament, there is a good chance it could move up to one of those four spots. Wisconsin has already claimed the Big Ten regular season title after it beat Minnesota on Thursday. Ohio State, a projected 8-seed by ESPN’s Joe Lunardi, is coming off back-to-back road wins where it faced a second half deficit.
