Breaking: Alabama hires Avery Johnson as head coach
The University of Alabama has officially announced that Avery Johnson will indeed be the next head basketball coach for the Crimson Tide. Yesterday there were reports from several sources that there was a verbal agreement between Johnson and the Crimson Tide athletic department and everyone was just waiting around for an official announcement. That announcement came within the past hour, according to AL.com.
